The Big Weight Loss Secret Used By
Celebrities
It seems like there isn’t a week that goes by where a
celebrity is in the lime light for losing a lot of weight –
seemingly very quickly, and with little effort.
But what are the secrets the celebrities have that we don’t?
Is it just expensive personal trainers to keep them on track?
Do they have some kind of special ability that other people
don’t?
In this article, we will reveal some of the secrets behind
the celebrity weight loss programs...
Weight Watchers is the key to success for Jenny McCarthy.
The reason why she prefers Weight Watchers is because of the
structure of their diet plan.
She lost almost 80 pounds after giving birth to her baby. It
took her a year, however – which shows incredible weight loss
is best achieved slowly, and there’s more chance of the wait
staying off. That's how Weight Watchers works, slowly and
steadily.
You may already know that Jenny McCarthy is now a
spokesperson for Weight Watchers.
How about Oprah? How did she lose weight? Oprah used a "diet
plan for life" program created by her personal trainer. Her
secret is to never get hungry and always eat some protein
whenever she eats. The program clearly worked very well. She
has now lost nearly 100 pounds, and even more importantly, she
has managed to kept it off as well. And that's even after a
lifetime of yo-yo dieting, admitted by Oprah.
Kirstie Alley needed temptation removed so when she was
approached by Jenny Craig she took up the challenge. The Jenny
Craig plan prepares all meals and delivers them once a week.
This is a similar type of service to Medifast or
Diet-To-Go.
Kirstie's secret is she didn't have to worry about making
choices; they were made for her. This certainly makes losing
weight much more conevient, as long as you have the will power
to not cheat! Kirstie lost 75 pounds and has kept it off.
Valerie Bertinelli was another star who found success with
Jenny Craig.
Remember Frasier Crane's radio sidekick Robin Quivers? She
used the 21 pounds in 21 Days program and lost a few more
pounds than the promised 21 pounds. This is very rapid weight
loss, which isn’t always to be recommended. This program relies
on fresh juice throughout the day and a chicken or fish dinner
with lots of veggies in the evening.
Some stars lose weight by cutting out a treat completely.
This idea can work for anyone, and it’s not too hard to get
used to – because it’s only a small change.
Carrie Underwood gave up pizza and substituted a veggie
sandwich instead. Jessica Simpson swapped gooey desserts for
fresh fruit like strawberries and raspberries. Alicia Keys was
a potato chip junkie but gave them up for rice cakes. Hilary
Duff gave up French fries for air popped popcorn. Arden Myrin
of Mad TV lost 30 pounds by sticking to three meals a day. Her
secret was no snacks. She also avoided flour and sugar.
This proves that there’s no real secret to losing weight
easily. The key is o make small changes, that you won’t have to
struggle to stick to.
Ricki Lake, whose weight has been known to fluctuate, lost
25 pounds by sticking to a 1200 calorie a day menu. Her secret
was to have the meals delivered fresh once a day by a gourmet
chef. Not cheap, but it was effective. Again, the diet-to-go
service is similar to this, but much cheaper!
Diana DeGarmo from America's Idol lost two dress sizes in
two months following a very reduced calorie diet divided into
five meals a day six days a week. Her secret was the seventh
day she ate whatever she liked, a reward for sticking to the
program the other six days.
Having an “eat whatever you like” day can be a great reward
for sticking to your diet, and it also helps to stop feeling
deprived while you’re on a weight loss diet. The Fat Loss 4
Idiots diet, which we recommend, also incorporates a “day off”
where you don’t need to stick to the diet plan.
As you can see, there’s no real secrets behind the weight
loss achieved by well-known celebrities. You can do anything
they have done.
Although some of the methods they use are very expensive
(such as gourmet meals being specially prepared and delivered),
there’s still cheaper alternatives like Medifast or Diet-To-Go.
An evener cheaper alternative is the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet
plan. This will give you a structured diet to follow, and allow
you to have the occasional “cheat” day.
